Spider-Man and His Amazing Friends (Iceman and Firestar, ‘natch) as rendered by Andrew Charipar in a sketch I got at Comic Geek Speak Super Show 2010.
I’ve picked up a whole lot of art for both myself and my son from Drew over the past several years.  I really, really dig his style.

Everyone seems to focus on how good Lynda Carter looked in her Wonder Woman costume - and, obviously, she did - but as beautiful as she may be, I think what I actually like best about her portrayal was the look she’d get on her face right before she’d do something like deflecting gunfire with her bracelets or throwing a dude through a wall.  That look that says “you just made a big mistake, and this is about to get really fun.”

Shrinking Violet and Bouncing Boy (in the style of the short-lived-but-awesome animated series) by Emily Block, whose 24-hour comic Marina is one of my most favorite comics ever.  I commissioned this directly from her after a nice email conversation in which I talked about how much I enjoyed Marina.

Joy from The Bugaloos is the first girl, fictional or otherwise, I ever had a crush on.  Lynda Carter’s Wonder Woman was probably the second (though it may have been Andrea Thomas from Isis), so this hits the part of my brain where that enamored 3 or 4 year old still lives.

Not that I had any idea what I wanted to do with any of these women at that age (besides fly, maybe), but still.

Pretty much the level of humor you can expect from me.
That being said, I’d totally buy this record.
